Who was this built for?
The Doctor Mix studios have featured Scan PCs for almost a decade now, with our systems continuing to grow to keep pace with this busy commercial studio's ever-more demanding requirements.
In time however they have developed beyond just a studio as Doctor Mix over recent years has risen to further prominence for the popular YouTube channel , featuring Mr Doctor Mix himself Claudio talking about gear, showing off mixing techniques or getting creative with sound design and new kit demo's.
The Concept
Our last studio system collaboration proved to be one of our most popular special editions, so for the most recent studio rebuild we wanted to develop a follow-up with a more personal touch. Equally as capable for video workloads as audio production, we wanted to create a multi-media powerhouse with a personalized finish.
Customized housing and visuals
We started with a Coolermaster Masterbox 520 case before adding our front diffusion panel with ARGB LED backlighting. We've then vinyl cut and applied the Doctor Mix logo to the front panel, with the lighting behind giving a fully controllable backlit effect.
The same logo has then been etched into the case side panel window with an offset, giving an unobstructed view of the system internals with additional ARGB pump lighting and GPU RGB also adding internal highlights within the case. The result is a uniquely customized case featuring the Dr Mix artwork with the ability to set the lighting finish to suit the studio's mood.
What's Inside?
With the system connected to a Yamaha Nuage desk and requiring the flexibility to be able to deal with audio and video production in equal measure, we settled on nothing less than the range-leading Intel 14900K 24 core / 32 thread CPU. In support, we have 64GB of DDR5 Corsair memory and 3TB of the fastest NVMe 4.0 storage with Samsung 980 Pro drive storage allowing for the smooth handling of any media content.
To handle the video processing these are backed up with a 12GB ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 4070Ti, featuring fan tuning for low noise even under high loads, coupled with the ability to fully spin down those fans when not under intensive load making it perfect for all situations in the studio.
The case cooling is fitted with be quiet! through-out. The water-based AIO Silent Loop 360 provides the cooling for the powerful CPU and 140mm Silent Wing 4 fans are fitted in the case. Complete with a be quiet! 850W Straight Power PSU this range of cooling options is both efficient and lives up to its name by striking an impressive balance with great performance and low noise profile.

This custom special edition is now also available in our store, complete with your own choice of artwork on the front of the case, framed by our programable ARGB backlit design. It can then be completed with an optional side panel window etch once again with a design of your choosing.
The system specification can also be fully specified to your needs, with the ability to customize an Intel 14900K based system within our configuration pages.
