Established by S. N. Shure in Chicago in 1925, Shure originated as a one-man company selling AM radio kits and components. 1932 saw the launch of Shure’s first ever microphone, the lightweight and reasonably priced Model 33N Two-Button Carbon Microphone – cementing Shure’s future in the microphone and audio world.
