SCAN PARTNERS WITH INEVIDESK VIRTUAL DESKTOP PROVIDER
25, June 2024: Scan Computers (Scan) has entered into a partnership with Inevidesk to deliver high-performance virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to customers with demanding GPU requirements, as part of Scan’s Cloud portfolio.
Scan Virtual Desktop reduces the cost and complexity of IT infrastructure. Rather than investing in and managing multiple GPU-accelerated workstations, pods provide a centralised pool of GPUs, enabling remote working, and simplified IT administration.
Scan Virtual Desktop, powered by Inevidesk, delivers outstanding performance in applications such as AutoCAD, Bentley, Revit and Rhino. Additionally, it offers a more sustainable IT infrastructure for customers since VDI generates 62% [1] less carbon than physical workstations.
Featuring powerful NVIDIA workstation GPUs, high-speed networking and storage, the Inevidesk pods can be hosted on-premise or at one of Scan’s data centre partners. Scan’s Virtual Desktop solution starts from as little as seven users, scaling to as many users as a business or organisation needs.
