16/11/2022 - The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 launched at 2pm on 16th November 2022. Demand for some models has been higher than others with select RTX 4080 graphics cards remaining available to buy as well as 4080 powered 3XS PCs. We will not be taking pre-orders on any sold out graphics cards at this stage. As stock for sold out models becomes available, the buy button will reappear on the site.
12/11/2022 - The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 series launched at 2pm on 12th October 2022. Demand was extremely high and we have sold out of the initial online allocations. At this time we aren’t accepting pre-orders for RTX 4090 models. Customers can pre-order 3XS Systems. Please check the advertised lead time on the product page.

When can I buy an RTX 40 series graphics card?
The RTX 4090 launched at 2pm on 12th October 2022. Followed by the RTX 4080 on 16th November at 2pm. All models that are in stock will be listed on the website at the same time for sale. When stock runs out we will remove the buy button for that model. We will not be taking any pre-orders for this launch
Can I buy a 3XS System with an RTX 40 series Graphics card?
Yes. As per the graphics card launch, 3XS systems with 40 series graphics cards will be available to order from launch day. Launch systems will be built to order, please see the estimated lead time on the product page.
Why are you not taking pre-orders for the RTX 40 series?
At this time we have chosen not to take pre-orders on these models, or any further pre-orders on other models, as we do not have a clear schedule of stock arriving. This means that we have no way to know how many pre-orders we could take on any specific model and fulfil within a reasonable time frame.
Can I buy a Founders Edition graphics card from Scan?
No. Scan work as a fulfilment partner for NVIDIA on the FE cards. These must be bought using the links on the NVIDIA website when stock is available.
What are you doing to ensure a fair supply of graphics cards to gamers?
For us, its more important than ever to make sure that customers who want a card for their own use are actually able to buy from us. The website will feature significant extra security measures at every graphics card stock release, with new measures introduced regularly, as we are doing everything we can to stop the scalpers and get the cards into the hands of gamers, including manual checks before shipping. Naturally we can’t list what these measures are but some will be very visible, like captcha to reduce bots, and others go much deeper. We hope that everyone can be understanding in these challenging situations.
My card was removed from my basket, why did this happen?
Due to the extreme demand there will have been a significant amount of people in the basket at various stages. When stock sells out the item in your basket is removed. This prevents a purchase being made when there is no longer stock available and avoids disappointment further into the check out process. If this happens our customer services team will not be able to help as the product is no longer available. In these circumstances your only option is to select another card that is in stock. There is a very small possibility in extreme circumstances that this could have happened during payment. If this is the case then the transaction will be reversed automatically.
How do I know my order status?
If you have received an order number or your payment was processed. If you do not have an order number, we have not been able to accept your order.
I didn’t get a card at the launch. When is the next time I can buy one?
At this time we are still confirming shipping schedules with the brands following the initial batch. When new stock arrives, it will be released to the website for sale.
