Brett Danton

Director, Photographer, Cinematographer

“Professional quality reference monitors have always been very expensive. Before I received this monitor I could only judge my images by going to an expensive post house. With the changing times we have all started to work from home. I can now work confidently at home at a level that simply wasn’t possible before. it's completely changed my post production workflow.”

Darren Mostyn

Colourist, Post-production facility owner

“It is vital that the monitor is calibrated and accurate to broadcast standards. My work is all around colour and if I don’t have an accurate representation of it I’m working “blind”. Good colour performance means that I can rely on my monitor to give an accurate account of what I’m going to be sending to the broadcasters. A quality monitor mustn’t be forgiving or flattering to the images. I need to see every detail - and every flaw - in the image.

The Scan Pro Video team challenged renowned Colourist, Darren Mostyn to test drive our Windows10 Pro 3XS workstation to see how it faired against his MacOS powered workflow.

HaZ Dulull

Filmmaker, Virtual Production specialist

I am a hands-on director, I am involved in every step of the production from previs to animation, lighting, editing and colour. Having a professional monitor means that I am not second guessing when it comes to colour and details. It means I won’t have to deal with emails from executives or financiers saying “Why does it look milky or too dark” on my screen. I need a monitor that is not only technically superb but affordable for an independent production company like mine.
