The old PSU finally gave up after almost 8 years...served me well. Of course it has to happen on a Sunday and there I am thinking it is going to be several days before I can get a replacement. I had given up hope after frantically searching for some time to get the replacement I need. All the usual internet suspects failed in meeting my requirements....except for Scan.co.uk. They came up trumps on my first search. The exact PSU I was looking for, EVGA GQ series 750w 80 gold. The price was also very good, but what was also impressive was the free next day delivery. I could not believe it, but there it was in writing. By now it was late afternoon on the Sunday. I placed my order. By the way I have had an account with them for some years. And sure enough it arrived late morning the following day. Very well packaged and secure,What joy.... by the Monday afternoon I was up and running and I cannot thank Scan enough for the turnaround of my purchase. Fitting was straight forward with ample labelled leads and connectors. No chance of getting it wrong. I needed a performing and reliable PSU for a long term investment and went for the 80plus Gold rating. The make was also important and EVGA (my personal opinion) is synonymous to reliability! Some weeks later, and my machine is still purring nicely. Thanks again Scan for taking the stress out of my 24 hour period.....appreciated very much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Iwillputaspellonyou from Just the PSU if your upgrading to a RTX2080ti card Just upgraded my graphics card and found that I had to upgrade my internal psu. The delivery service from Scan on the new psu was very quick. I love the new psu as it offers various configurations for graphics card. My new graphics card required a 6 and 4 configuration which this psu could easily deliver. If your upgrading your graphics card to a RTX2080 or RTX080ti then you will need this psu (pr greater see card manufacture specs) as a lesser powered psu will result in the card not functioning as it should.

In addition, in my opinion, a very good price-quality ratio when it comes to the 80 Gold standard.
